Benevilla Main Campus – Surprise, AZ
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week) | Occasional evenings/weekends based on business needs | This position is primarily office-based and requires regular on-site presence.

As Director of Marketing & Communications, you will:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies across all Benevilla programs.
  • Strengthen brand awareness, community engagement, and organizational visibility.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, including graphic design, social media, and community outreach staff.
  • Serve as steward of Benevilla’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, donor relations, and program teams on communications, outreach, and engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, performance metrics, and ROI of campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing strategies, social media, website content, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Represent Benevilla at community events, fairs, expos, and media opportunities.
  • Support new program launches, facility expansions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Act as spokesperson and support crisis communications as needed.

What You Need:
  • Ability to reliably commute to the Surprise, AZ area (no relocation assistance).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field plus 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience OR High School diploma/GED with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Marketing experience in the nonprofit and/or aging services industry preferred but not required.
  • Experience developing strategic marketing plans and managing brand identity.
  • Strong skills in project management, creative development, professional writing, and multi-channel marketing execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, email marketing systems, and CMS (WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, creative, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain community and partnership relationships.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and tracking campaign performance.
