Teacher’s Assistant Fkiat
Wirtzie’s Preschool & Childcare Program – Surprise, AZ
$15.68/hour | Monday–Friday
Schedule: 11am to 5pm however must be available until 6pm based on ratio needs

As a Teacher’s Assistant, you will:

Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities and routines.
Assist with care, supervision, and engagement of children.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment.
Prepare materials, set up activities, and maintain a clean classroom.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

What You’ll Need:

Reliable transportation to the Surprise, AZ area.
1 year of experience in early care and education or related experience (volunteering, nannying, or weekend nursery work counts).
High school diploma or GED.
Strong customer service, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
Must complete a pre-employment health appraisal and maintain updated health documentation every two (2) years thereafter in accordance with NAC accreditation standards.
Ability to obtain certifications including Fingerprint Clearance, CPR, TB/Chest X-Ray, and Food Handler’s (we provide support for certification costs).
